Monthly dryer costs depend on the number of cycles. Where possible, check kWh per cycle and cycles per month. Avoid directly comparing label values measured with different loads, settings or test conditions.
Monthly energy equals kWh per cycle multiplied by cycles per month. A fictional 1.5 kWh per cycle and 12 cycles gives 18 kWh per month. At an assumed 0.2 currency units/kWh, that is 3.6 currency units. These are not real model specifications or local tariffs.
Vary installation costs, repair costs and cycles to see how the result changes. Base comparisons on cycles and energy you can actually reduce, rather than assuming every hour removed yields the same saving.

An increase in household energy does not prove the dryer caused it. Use monthly records to notice changes; identifying a cause requires separate measurements and information about use.
